Taming Analog: Vintage Revolutions Analog Hybrid Multi-fx

 So now there are plenty of hardware and software devices that will store effect presets that you create.  You can get an iPhone app for free that will do it.  From there you can work your way up to units like the Line 6 Pod HD500 and the Axe-FX.  They can do a lot but what they can’t do is real analog.

Now there’s one that can.   
Vintage Revolution’s PedalPro.

This rather pricey box may be the holy grail that some players have been searching for:  Real Analog warmth and response with modern digital control.

It works in many ways like most rack processors allowing presets to be made and recalled instantly.  One of the big benefits of this system is that the processing doesn’t rely on DSP meaning you can hypothetically use all 14 effects simultaneously!

The Pedalino

All effects are controlled with the a unique pressure-sensitive controller called the Pedalino(which is Italian for expensive proprietary floor controller).  

I couldn’t find any US prices but converted the Euro price to dollars at around $2,750 with the Pedalino.  Hefty, but in Axe-FX territory.
